The tree is up.

This afternoon we decorated our Christmas tree whilst listening to the story of Good King Wenceslas on Storynory.

This evening we were had all planned to go along to a Christmas carol service  here, in the woodland classroom.... but in the end only Ash went along, as when you have children who start the day at 5am each morning, you find that they are ready for bed by 6pm.

  1. Hi Gina,
Cute tree! Joss is now a solar pv installer and also a bit obsessed with Ben Law so he's keen to do a course of some description down there next year sometime, hoping we'll be able to come along too and say hello! Anna x

  3. What a darling little tree, he looks just perfect:) We know what you mean by sleep times dicating what you can and can not do...our eldest and youngest are the opposite..being night owls making mornings impossible for us to do much.Have a wonderful solstice/xmas.

  6. Wonderful little tree, so cute.
And early birds here mean no late night excursions for us either. (Not that they go to bed early, just that they become increasingly grumpy or hyper!!)
    Seasons blessings to you all.
    xx

  7. Ah yes, early bedtimes mean many missed evening events in our family too—but I don't mind it. I've just found your blog and am enjoying it tonight :)
